Cheers usually has a big ol' stack of them right outside their doors, free for the taking. Safeway will also give you theirs from the back...just make sure to check 'em to make sure they don't have rotten fruit smell. AHAHAH--check freecycle.com or craigslist.com, too...there are always nice folks giving away good moving boxes.
