Mushrooms

I was watching the planet earth show tonight on discovery. There was a section in which an ant was taken far away from the rest of the ants and left to die. Ends up, they did that because it had a parasitic mushroom spore growing inside it and it would kill off a ton of the other ants. Time lapse for a bit and the ant dies. Next thing it shows is a mushroom growing out of the top of its head... time lapse to show it growing. Then they cut to other insects with mushrooms growing out of their legs, heads, thorax.... I about died. Almost had to puke. That was one of the grossest thing I have ever seen. I hate mushrooms passionately.. not the kind that you eat, i got no problems there, but the kind that appear in your house or grow outta things they shouldn't. I get chills every time I even think about it. Just thought I would share

Just some more from what I wrote below this, the tour extension thing. I wasn't to worried about this cause Rich mentioned it prob was just a rumor. Well, not a rumor after all apparently... not set in stone but the people above him are not saying "no" now.. so looks like he will be gone until Feb. now. That is just fabulous. There is another shitty part though which is fucked up and gay and of course typical. When he left he was told that if he had to stay over 12 months, he would get an extra 1000 a month. Now, they are changing that to 15 months, of course! I mean wow if you knew you had to keep troops there for extra time what better way to not have to pay them extra then to extend the tours instead. They changed the rules and took that money away.. he may get 200 extra a month but fuck what bastards. Of course this is not confirmed at the moment, but come on now of course it will happen. We should all write letters to congressmen.

The length of time for a tour in Iraq is going up to 15 months, isn't that lovely...

I will prob get some hell for this but its cool. I decided after Monday that I am not watching 24 anymore. It was so cool in the beginning, bombs going off and shit, but now it is so damn tedious that I am done. Sorry you hardcore fans but I can only take so much.
